2008 Discussions

Discussions at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival include the long-running Tribeca Talks, as well as a new series, Tribeca Talks Industry, about the business of entertainment. Additional offerings include Behind the Screens, an exploration of truth, clarity, and responsibility in contemporary filmmaking, Conversations in Cinema, a series of chats with noteworthy filmmakers, artists, and thinkers, and ongoing presentations at the Apple Store Soho throughout the festival. The personalities appearing in these various series include Lou Reed, Mike Figgis, Isabella Rossellini, Sissy Spacek, Melvin Van Peebles, Amy Tan, Errol Morris, Gloria Estefan, and many more.
