The Carpenter and His Clumsy Wife is a black comedy about a carpenter who uses his skills to repair what he believes to be his wife's inadequacies.
Peter Foott graduated from The National Film School with honors. His first short Just a Little Bit of Love-A tribute to Des Smyth won the Grand Jury Prize at the eKsperim(E)nto Film Festival in the Philippines, Undergraduate Prize at the Hampton’s Film Festival and Runner-Up Prize at BBC’S New Talent competition. The Carpenter and His Clumsy Wife is his second short. Foott has worked at the Cork Film Festival and as a freelance editor for the BBC, New Decade Films, and the Cork Film Center. He is working on his first feature film.
