About the Director(s)
Gabriela Yepes holds a B.A. in filmmaking and has published poems and articles in local magazines. She has also directed 13 television documentaries on environmental and social issues for Peruvian public television. She later founded a small media company that partners on projects with the United Nations Development Program. In 2004, Yepes received a Fulbright Fellowship and was accepted into the graduate film program at the University of Texas in Austin.
