About the Director(s)
Psyché Pirashas two degrees, one in the history of art and archaeology and another in film studies and scriptwriting, from the University of Brussels. She also took acting courses at the Charleroi Dramatic Academy. Moon Mermaid is her first short. Sophie Collay first studied English literature in Lyon and taught English for three years in French Guiana and France before entering the Film School (INSAS) in Brussels to study directing. She directed the short films In her hands (2005) and Highest Branch (2006) while in school.
