The Forgotten Ones celebrates the life's work of 93-year-old photographer Milton Rogovin, an optometrist who was blacklisted by the House Un-American Activities Committee in the 1950s and subsequently dedicated his life to photographing the residents of a depressed six-block area in his hometown of Buffalo, as well as other areas (including the Lower West Side).

About the Director(s)
Harvey Wang is a widely published photographer and Emmy award-winning filmmaker. His books include Flophouse: Life on the Bowery and Harvey Wang's New York. A film and commercial director since 1993, he has shot and produced documentaries for National Geographic, CBS, and HBO and directed television commercials for Maysles Films. Milton Rogovin: The Forgotten Ones won the best documentary short prize at the 2003 Tribeca Film Festival.
