About the Director(s)
Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer grew up in Mexico, where he trained daily in the art of creating, observing, and managing conflict in a household with his mother and sisters. In 2011, he attended the American Film Institute Conservatory with an emphasis in Directing. At AFI, he was given the 2012 Director’s Award Grant, and his thesis film, Veladora, received the Bridges/Larson Production Award.
